Auroville Beach is at a distance of 145kms from Chennai and it is approximately 12kms in the north of Puducherry (previously known as Pondicherry).

Auroville Beach is a hidden gem that offers an enchanting escape from the chaos and for us it opened the resting arms.
It nestled along the serene coastline of Tamil Nadu.
The golden sands, gentle waves, and peaceful ambiance and the time of sunset perfectly captivated us.

A Retreat into Nature:
Auroville Beach is perfect for those who seek tranquility amidst nature.
Unlike the more commercialized beaches, it maintains a raw, unspoiled charm.
The shoreline is lined with big stones, and the rhythmic sound of waves crashing against the shore creates a soothing atmosphere.
Things we did :
●Beach Walk: The golden sands stretch endlessly and that made it ideal for our long walks, especially during the sunset; the sky was painted with mesmerizing red, orange and pink hues.
●Photography: The picturesque landscape and the sceneric stone walkways down on beach led to the sceneric view point provided us ample of opportunities for stunning photography, we captured the beauty of the sea and the silhouettes of local fishermen.
●Meditation: Many visitors practice yoga or meditation on the beach.
We embraced the calm energy of the place; it made us quiet for a while and helped us to delve into the inner self.
Best Time to Visit
The best time would be after monsoon to March.
This time the weather would be pleasant, and the sea breeze refreshes the atmosphere specially during morning and evening; it would be magical with stunning views and a peaceful environment that will dwell into the soul for sure.
Concluded Thoughts:
Auroville Beach is more than just a beach for us, it was the expexperience which whenever we look back it took us and engulf us with relaxation, reminds us the adventure we did, the spiritual retreat we got, through this coastal paradise dive.
It was the place where our soul found peace and the heart rejoiced.
